Prevention of animal attacks

The prevention of animal attacks has been a huge issue in the United States and many other places. Dog attacks have been a concern because these animals are common in most neighbourhoods. Statistics show 4.7 million people have been attacked by animals; many of the people that sustain injuries are hospitalized or taken to emergency rooms. Some cases are fatal. To prevent animal attacks, California Lawyers and legal services stated, “Avoid approaching any dog or other kind of animal that are unfamiliar to you, avoid running away from a dog and screaming out. When an unfamiliar dog or animal is approaching you hostilely, be still and refrain from motioning. It is wise to be as still as a tree when these circumstances occur. When a dog managed to knock you over, it is imperative to lie still as a log upon rolling into a ball position, and refrain from getting your hands or face near unfamiliar dogs and/or animals’ face." There are other ways to prevent animal attacks. There is a city code in place to help prevent animal attacks. An example of a city code is from Hyattsville, it states, “No owner shall fail to provide effective care and control of his animals to prevent them from becoming a public nuisance. Excessive, continuous or untimely barking, howling or making of other noises, molesting passersby, chasing vehicles, habitually attacking other domestic animals, trespassing upon school grounds or trespassing upon any other property in such a manner as to damage the property or excreting on property other than that of the owner shall be deemed a nuisance.” There are many ways to prevent animal attacks and people should be aware of their environment. People should be careful when swimming, riding animals, hiking, camping, and around wild animals. People should avoid feeding wild animals, they should bring kits when in dangerous area, and they should educate children on the dangers of messing with animals. There are many tips and codes that are available to prevent animal attacks on humans. Knowledge of these things will lessen chances of an animal attack.

Vandlism rates has been increasing in valley street.

Loan sharks have now resorted to putting pressure on the debtor's neighbours, by splashing paint over three vehicles at a Valley street carpark.
According to an article in The Straits Times, this is one of the many tactics they have used in their three-month harassment campaign that has left residents fearing for their safety.
Residents awoke yesterday to find the two cars and a van covered in red, yellow and black paint.
They said loan sharks had been targeting a particular flat for the past three months, but the debtor did not live there.
One woman, who declined to be named, said the loan sharks started by posting notices on the flat and another next to it, informing them of "Kelvin's" debt.
They later vandalised the doors and locked the gates of the unit and two others on the same floor.
Yesterday, they locked the gate of the debtor's flat again.
Police received a call about the vandalised vehicles at about 7.50am. Investigations are ongoing.
Here's other case where a car is being vandalism in the above video.
